Results: While more Chinese women experienced SUI (p =.049), American women who experienced SUI experienced it earlier in their pregnancy (p =.003) and more frequently (p <.0001) than the Chinese women. Therefore, it can be assumed that although less American women experienced SUI, the impact was greater on their daily living activities. Irrespective of ethnicity, only 14% (n = 18) of women who described having SUI sought medical aid. Conclusion: The disconnect between high incidence and low rates of seeking treatment needs future exploration to develop interventions tailored to educate women about SUI and its role during pregnancy.]]> Wed 16 Feb 2022 14:46:28 AEDT ]]> Woman-centred care and the socially disadvantaged woman: an Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:12234 Wed 11 Apr 2018 14:29:49 AEST ]]> Perineal trauma and childbirth: a discussion paper https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:4980 Wed 11 Apr 2018 13:02:04 AEST ]]> Working for socially disadvantaged women https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:9221 Wed 11 Apr 2018 10:33:37 AEST ]]> Mindfulness for men with pregnant partners: an integrative literature review (part one) https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:32172 Wed 09 May 2018 11:14:09 AEST ]]> Mindfulness for men with pregnant partners: an integrative literature review (part two) https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:32173 Wed 09 May 2018 11:14:09 AEST ]]> An integrative review of changes of family relationships and mental health that Chinese men experience during transition to fatherhood https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:36823 Wed 08 Jul 2020 14:09:42 AEST ]]> Weighing as a stand-alone intervention does not reduce excessive gestational weight gain compared to routine antenatal care: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomised controlled trials https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:30994 Wed 06 Apr 2022 14:04:42 AEST ]]> A historical account of the governance of midwifery education in Australia and the evolution of the Continuity of Care Experience https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:35374 Thu 28 Oct 2021 12:35:32 AEDT ]]> Development and validation of the Australian Midwifery Standards Assessment Tool (AMSAT) to the Australian midwife standards for practice 2018 https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:39150 .9); valid (eigenvalue of 16.6 explaining 67% of variance); and sensitive (score analysis indicating increased levels of proficiency with progressive student experience).
