- Description
- The excitation laser spatia-temporal characteristics at the objective are critical to the performance of two-photon scanning microscopes. Beam scanning systems introduce time distortion due to optical wavefront aberration induced pulse broadening. Four scan engines are compared using optical software showing the design of choice is a novel parabolic mirror design.
