- The article discusses the authors' view on the importance of critical thinking in media's delivery of health-related news. They are critical on the proliferation of online news services and the rapid growth of technological communication which remain dependent on the traditional news media. The authors point out that despite the ease of information offered by technology, it leaves no guarantee of its invulnerability to misinterpretation of clinical information. Meanwhile, they suggest that the media must use critical thinking supported by a well-conducted research to present health news which is beneficial to the public.
