- Description
- This chapter juxtaposes the thought processes of Gilles Deleuze and Jurgen Habermas as they relate to the idea of practical knowledge with the view of becoming able to re-conceptualise education in terms of multiple sets of sociocultural practices. The idea of juxtaposing is based on Richard Bernstein's model of "the new constellation" that, rather than comparing and/or contrasting two theories, aims to construct a common, shared plane between the two.
