- Description
- In this paper, a new non-isolated high voltage gain DC-DC converter using a combination of modified quasi switched-boost and switched-capacitor networks is presented. The proposed DC-DC converter has low element count and low voltage stress on its elements, which results in low cost and size. Moreover, the proposed converter can achieve high voltage gains with lower duty cycles compared to the similar converters. In this paper, the steady-state analysis in both continuous and discontinuous conduction modes is presented. A major contribution of this paper is a detailed design procedure for the converter elements, based on the analysis in the continuous conduction mode. Simulation of the converter in PSCAD/EMTDC software environment validate the theoretical analysis.
