- Design education has faced new challenges such as the employment of cutting-edge technology and 3D virtual worlds for design teaching. This employment provides new opportunities for design students to create virtual places for experience and interaction. This paper reports on our teaching experience, as well as discussing the potential of designing 3D virtual worlds and their potential impacts on design education.
