- Description
- The manner in which the concept of Christian communism was first developed by Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Kautsky in the early 20th century through their works "Socialism and the Churches" and "Forerunners of Modern Socialism", respectively, is analyzed. It is suggested that their re-interpretation of early Christian communism resulted in a powerful political myth that had to be practiced, and was also thought to be with a longer history than actually was.
