- Description
- Initiating and developing professional learning networks is well-established practice in education in Australia and New Zealand. However, maintaining and sustaining those networks has been far more difficult. In writing of such networks with respect to action research Elliott has observed: Most of the collaborative action research I have seen hasn’t been sustained. It’s temporary. The networks created are temporary structures. When the funding runs out they collapse. I am quite interested in how you generate quite radically new kinds of more sustainable permeations across boundaries.
