- Description
- Feng Shui, the ancient Chinese principles and practice in built environment, is actually one of the most popular subjects in the modern world. There are more than ten thousands websites related to this discipline, and a lot of Feng Shui topics also appeared in books, magazines and media coverage. However, the development of Feng Shui principles and practices are complicated and there is little research into the applications of Feng Shui knowledge to the built environment and architectural design. This paper reviews contemporary research of Feng Shui study by scholars and outlines a research methodology for scientific research of Feng Shui applications to the built environment using the artificial intelligent approach - knowledge-based expert systems (KBES).
