Description: As one of the three major CCS technologies, oxy-fuel technology is currently undergoing rapid development with a number of demonstration projects commencing in the development towards commercialization. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the most recent pilot plants and demonstration projects. Aspects of a roadmap for the deployment of oxy-fuel CCS technology for commercialization are provided with further R&D needs being identified.
