Description: In order to monitor therapy and determine its effectiveness in asthma we need to assess health and wellbeing as it relates to this disease. Quality of life (QOL) questionnaires are one way of achieving this. Quality of life is a broad concept that refers to an individual's general health, wellbeing and ability to function in society. Asthma-specific QOL questionnaires attempt to measure those dimensions of QOL which are influenced by asthma.
