- Description
- “Back to the City”, a temporary urban art project, was staged in and around the city of Newcastle's centre in January and February 2008. Under the artistic directorship of Professor Steffen Lehmann, the project invited collaborations between artists, architects and landscape designers. Rather than the intended outcome of bringing Newcastle’s revitalisation into focus, the project brought into focus Newcastle’s hiatus.
