- Prepared to teach: an investigation into the preparation of teachers to teach literacy and numeracy
- The report identified five keys areas which should be considered in improving the effectiveness of the pre-service preparation of teachers to teach literacy and numeracy, including the finding that beginning primary and secondary teachers require stronger preparation in specific literacy and numeracy strategies, and in utilising such strategies to teach and assess students who have difficulties with literacy and numeracy.
