Description: In the 2008 edition of the International Survey, I wrote that: "... 2006 developments may very well add still more imponderables into an already obscure miasma. In other words, we can look forward to intriguing developments in the future." After a relatively quiescent 2007, those intriguing developments, notably in the area of parenting as presaged by the Family Law Amendment (Shared Parental Responsibility) Act 2006 are beginning to come to pass.
